Kirsten Vangsness has been an American actor since the early 1990s. Her most well-known role was that of Penelope Garcia, in the popular police procedural crime show Criminal Minds. She has also appeared in the two spin-off series "Criminal minds: Suspect Behavior' and "Criminal minds: Beyond Borders..' Kirsten Vangsness has been featured in other TV shows also. From her debut appearance on show business in 1998, she has been in a variety of minor parts in film. In her film career, some of the notable performances are 'In My Sleep' The Chicago 8', and Kill Me, Deadly. She's also written pieces in The Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes of "Criminal Minds". She loves animals, especially cats. Her passion is rescuing and rehabbing injured or abandoned animals.
